Vedic Manas Yoga acts as a mediator between the senses and the soul: Arvind Rana
May 26, 2024, Haridwar: Under the aegis of Patanjali Research Institute and Divya Yoga Mandir Trust, a five-day camp of “Vedic Manas Yoga” was concluded in the auditorium of Patanjali Samriddh Gram.
At the beginning of the program, the coordinator of Vedic Manas Yoga, Mr. Arvind Rana said that the 'third eye' can be awakened by activating the pineal gland through techniques like yoga and meditation. When the pineal gland is activated, one can see even with closed eyes or with a blindfold on. Elaborating on his point, he further said that there is a lot of difference between the yoga of ancient times and present-day yoga. In that period, Yagya and Yoga had great importance, as a result of which it was possible to create a complete and divine life with a healthy personality even in adverse circumstances. He further said that abstaining from worldly activities and things in which ordinary people are usually involved is 'Vairagya'. Life can be made joyful by using great principles like renunciation in daily behavior and the mind can be activated through yoga, meditation, asanas, and pranayam.
In this camp, different experts shared their extensive knowledge of their respective fields. Dr. Nagendra Kumar Neeraj provided valuable information about the benefits of Ayurveda and Naturopathy in human life. He suggested some small lifestyle changes can bring positive changes in our health. Swami Yagyadev Ji explained the importance of Yagya in daily life and told how various diseases can be cured through Yagya.
